I think I speak for everyone when I say we ---NEED--- part 8 to the strippers fic ASAP. I can't be the only one dying to know what happens next and how (or if) this monumental fuck-up on Eddie's part (Lying about having to take Steve somewhere and leaving your girl to worry about where you are, what you're doing, and with whom? Come on now, Eds, you're supposed to be better than that, babe) could possibly be resolved in any way that results in the reader and Eddie getting an HEA ending.

But please don't take this as pressure. Just eagerness lol. I also think I speak for everyone when I say a quality chapter is much preferred to something rushed.

Ah, that must've been quite a sight! It's always such a staggering feeling coming across a big herd of any large animals, at least if you ask me. The fact they were all white just adds to the effect.

I hope Vasco would've fetched Machete and showed him the deer as well. I don't think he's encountered many other albinistic animals, at least in canon. He might've been impressed.

THOUGHT ABOUT IT AND TBH.... maria 😭 OH ROE.... maria is roe's rebound after her and pewter break up, she's by no means just an innocent victim but roe is not kind to her and uses her and absolutely takes advantage of maria's obvious infatuation for her 💔 i fear its not even intentional either, not entirely, roe's just trying to keep her head above water, she'd grown so used to consistent reliable love and intimacy with pewter that having that stripped away from her is really life shattering. its definitely her lowest point imo.

id say she mainly only hurt maria emotionally, im sure she was physically rough with her too (they were in a gang together) but its moreso using her and toying with her emotions, esp when pewter comes back into the picture, at first anyways. roe's desperation to try and make pewter jealous and hurt the way roe hurt 💔 SIGH

roe doesn't even really see what shes doing at the time i think, its only after the fact that she's forced to grapple with hkw unhealthy and cruel she had been. after roe ditches her maria goes on to lead the gang in roe's absense, and she is a lot more violent and volatile than roe ever was. so i was thinking roe and pewter end up having to track her down to put an end to this, and roe really has such a terrible time reckoning with what she did, i fear 💔 finding bodies of victims of maria and roe trying to act unbothered but stumbling outside to throw up bc shes so horrified by it all...! UNFORTUNATE! while i think she'd initially try and excuse her own behavior and act like marias overreacting, roe definitely has matured at this point and part of her growth in that regard is seeing what she did here was wrong and owning up to it, seeking forgiveness and trying to fix what she'd done.

UNHEALTHY OF COURSE 😍 sex is her #1 go to coping mechanism, even though pewter kind of ruins this for her after making her realize she was just using sex to try and emulate the intimacy and affection she really longed for ..💖 bc pewter can give her both sex and love.. JAWDROP! but yeah she has quite an unhealthy relationship around sex, smth i love love love exploring with her. and also she does dabble in drinking to excess, of course ^_^ it being fantast medieval ages and all. but its nowhere near like dangerous addiction levels, she can just severely overdo it sometimes

oh but she actually Does develop a healthy coping mechanism later on 💖 keeping a journal and self reflecting with that ^_^ its at pewters suggestion and roe finds it silly and annoying at first but she takes to it really well after struggling through getting used to it <3 her little journal collection that she lets pewter read through. AND ONLY her. even though shes still embarrassed about it

WAH . roe's just a very physical person and so getting this kind of focused intimacy, where its clear how loved and trusted she is, does a lottttt for her. esp after the events in canon, roe really longs for pewters physicality

Okay so I'm gonna take a few things from real life here so bear with me.

So IRL Nascar has drivers switch cars every time they make a new aero package so everyone is on a level playing field. But chassis are the same more or less as the Gen 6 car was basically a reskined car of tomorrow which used the same chassis before the next gen gen 7 car came out.

Do rules like that apply in the piston cup?

i think so, yeah!! i like to believe that the piston cup is literally just nascar with a different name (especially due to the reference of Piston cup with Winston cup, which is what the nascar cup series was called up until 2003)

i think they work basically the same, i think that the tracks that are unnamed in the cars universe are just the same (or slightly edited versions) of their real life counterparts, and i think the paint schemes work the same way - with every so often a driver has a different main sponsor for a race. i think keeping these rules for the piston cup like the ones we have in nascar adds more room for creativity as writers and artists arent stuck trying to make up rules, even if theyre simply using the real life rules as guidelines for their own add-ons.

It was so hard for me to articulate this so I'm sorry if I make no sense.

I completely agree with Murasaki having some disdain for Ichiya. Like, from his perspective, Squid Squad broke up because of the fight between Ichiya and Ikkan. And Ichiya, to me, is kind of a hard headed person who isn’t good at apologizing to people (Beika, Ikkan) and I think that he sort of stayed that way up to the point where he starts talking to Namida and Murasaki again. I also think that he hasn’t spoken to Murasaki specifically for the entire duration of Splatoon 2 to add insult to injury. (I think he spoke to Namida infrequently during that era because I picture them as ride or die besties, and Murasaki isn’t on that wavelength for multiple meta/personal reasons😓)

 In contrast, Murasaki changes a lot during the 5 years they don’t see each other at all. In my headcanon he was still a kid during Squid Squad, and even adults change a lot over several years. Imagine talking to someone you haven’t seen since they were a younger teenager. So like, Ichiya would still approach him as if he’s the exact same person, and he ends up patronizing him unintentionally because Murasaki was like his little brother. He was like this punk-ass kid who had a lot of potential but zero support so he invited him to his friend's shitty band even though he doesn’t fit the naming scheme at all. So, in Ichiya’s head there is no reason for Murasaki to be mad at him because he kinda gave him everything! “Why would Murasaki be mad at me? He loves me!” And he’s right because he did love him, he worshiped him! He was the coolest person he’s ever met because he was way cooler than Murasaki himself. But Ichiya (and Ikkan I guess) also took away all of those things. Because yeah, Murasaki was the drummer for the most popular band to ever hit Inkopolitan history, but he stopped being that drummer when Ikkan and Ichiya had a spat all by themselves and left him and Namida in the dark. So yeah, I think that would kind of breed resentment in him. I don’t think he truly hates him, but it’s really complicated xd. I don’t think Murasaki would know how to bring this up to him so, It would sort of bubble up inside of him until he breaks and they’ll be forced to talk about everything. But it would get better eventually 😊

Anyways, sorry if this is too much. I like to be mean to my favorite characters (Murasaki is my number one splatband character and Ichiya is definitely in the top five) but I understand not a lot of people are comfortable with that. 

Unrelated but happy you mentioned his "😒" face because I love drawing him like that. It’s like when a dog sighs really loudly like what do you have to be mad about? Sorry for writing a fucking thesis lolz.

Gonna tag this as politics, just cause I know some people don't wanna read it but after seeing someone say something incredibly stupid, I wanna vent it a little. "If Trump wins, you are not going to lose your rights because it’s up to the states. If Kamala wins, she can’t change anything because it’s up to the states." Do you know how stupid the above sounds? Trump appointed 3 Supreme Court Justices while in office, making it 5 Republican appointed Justices, versus 3 Democratic appointed Justices. Those 5 abolished Roe vs Wade, which gave the right to abortion to everyone in the United States. Doing so, made it so that it became a state-wide thing, meaning because of Donald Trumps choice, he CAUSED this mess for abortion. He may not have made the choice to overturn it himself, but he caused a domino effect to happen. (if Roe v Wade wasn't overturned, EVERYONE would still have the right, while NOW the states decide, meaning NOT EVERYONE has the right now!) And some people are saying and agreeing that he wouldn't cause more shit like this to happen? Or make things worse? Just like a domino effect, a fire starts somewhere, and a fire spreads. And if deep in a forest, that fire can spread so far. (look at the forest fires that have happened over the years) That's what a domino effect can look like. Just because "he didn't outright do it" doesn't mean he didn't appoint the people that did. (if he wasn't elected before, I highly doubt the Democrats that would have been appointed instead would have abolished it, considering the 3 appointed were against it) I have no say technically on what abortions should be, cause I don't have to deal with it, personally. That doesn't mean others that DO have to deal with pregnancy should not have a say in it. I'd rather vote for those that SHOULD have the right to make the choice, than vote against and be a hypocrite "because it doesn't affect me, so I'm not for it." And that means voting against the one that started this domino effect in the first place. GO VOTE IF YOU HAVEN'T.

hmm. i hate to say this. but the amount of takes that i don't agree with about eugene roe has made me rather cynical about his character and how the fandom interpretates him

20 - part of canon you found tedious or boring

very common complaint but the vibe switch from ep 9 to ep 10 annoys me greatly, it's near impossible for a series to successfully sympathize with what they've been showing as an antagonizing force throughout the entire series, and switching from death camps to understanding and sympathizing with german soldiers is always kind of trippy to me
